HumanGood, Pleasant Spring Communities affiliate

Nonprofits HumanGood and Pleasant Spring Communities announced the affiliation of their organizations on Feb. 1.

According to a press release, Pleasant Spring Communities oversees Springhouse and Mount Pleasant Home, and the affiliation will allow the communities to “enhance their operational efficiencies, streamline processes and introduce innovative programs” by having additional resources.

“Working together, our united organizations will continue to support older adults living lives of purpose and meaning,” HumanGood President and CEO John Cochrane said in the release.

ESI arranges sale of Iowa community

Evans Senior Investments announced it arranged the sale of Country Meadow Place, an assisted living and memory care community in Iowa.

According to a press release, the 56-unit community was sold for $13 million with ESI operating on behalf of an independent owner.

The release states the community has maintained full occupancy for the past 13 months and was purchased by the existing operator.

United Properties acquires Champlin property

United Properties announced on Feb. 1 that it has acquired Champlin Shores, a senior housing community in Champlin, Minnesota.

According to a press release, the community will be rebranded to Amira Choice Champlin, and operating partner Ebenezer Senior Living has assumed service responsibilities of the community.

United Properties announced it plans to update the facility over the next three years.

Primrose Retirement Communities acquires Wisconsin community

Primrose Retirement Communities announced that effective Feb. 1, it had purchased The Addison of Pleasant Prairie.

The 100-unit community was operated by Senior Lifestyle Corporation prior to the purchase.

“We believe our company culture and core values are a good fit for the Pleasant Prairie market, and we look forward to this opportunity,” Primrose President BJ Schaefbauer said in the release.
