Silverado announces appointment of national VP of sales

Memory care provider Silverado has announced the appointment of Dawn Wolda to serve as its national vice president of sales.

In her role, Wolda will design and manage the optimization of sales operations to “increase market share and drive innovation,” according to a press release.

Wolda brings more than 25 years of experience to the position, with her most recent position being the senior vice president of sales at Choice Health at Home.

Vice president of philanthropy hired at Lutheran Social Ministries of Maryland

Lutheran Social Ministries of Maryland announced it has hired Paige Mills-Haag as its vice president of philanthropy.

In her role, Mills-Haag will design and innovate philanthropic initiatives, alongside overseeing the organization’s charitable programs.

Mills-Haag brings over 17 years of experience to the position, with previous roles including executive roles in two senior living communities.

LCS promotes VP of business development

LCS has announced the promotion of David Mercugliano to vice president of business development.

In his new role, Mercugliano will lead business development initiatives to expand management and development opportunities for the LCS Family of Companies.

Mercugliano previously served as the director of business for LCS’s Care Purchasing Services after joining in June 2023. According to a press release, he has served in a variety of executive leadership roles.

ATI Advisory announces new managing director

Brian Fuller has joined the team at ATI Advisory as its new managing director.

In his position, Fuller will be leading ATI’s Value-Based Care Design and Delivery Practice.

According to a press release, Fuller bring “a wealth of experience” to the position, with experience in value-based care, aging senior services and post-acute care.

“His dedication to helping providers envision sustainable and successful financial futures and helping plans and states design programs that enable providers’ success is remarkable,” a press release said.

Charter Senior Living welcomes new lifestyles director

Charter Senior Living has announced the appointment of Carson Smith as the new lifestyles director at its Charlotte community.

With a background as a teacher, Smith will now be in charge of designing and implementing activities, outings and events for the community’s residents.

Prior to joining Charter Senior Living, Smith served as an elementary school teacher at Wolf Meadow Elementary in Concord, North Carolina.

Sagewood appoints new healthcare administrator for Acacia Health Center

Life plan community Sagewood has announced the appointment of Misti Valentino as its new healthcare administrator for the Acacia Health Center.

In her role, Valentino will be responsible for daily oversight of the center, which offers skilled nursing services, assisted living, memory care and rehabilitative services for both Sagewood residents and the general public.

Valentino’s 16-year career has been spent in senior living communities and rehab centers in Arizona.
