LeadingAge welcomes Mark Anderson to Board of Directors
LeadingAge, the association of nonprofit, mission-driven providers of aging services, is proud to announce Mark Anderson, President and CEO of Knute Nelson and Walker Methodist, joins its Board of Directors for a three-year term beginning in 2024.
Led by board chair Roberto Muñiz, President and CEO of Parker Health Group, Inc., the board is composed of executives at the helm of the association’s members: mission-driven, nonprofit providers of more than 5,400 aging-focused organizations providing services to older adults across the care continuum, from skilled nursing to home health, hospice and senior living communities, including affordable housing for low-income older adults. The board guides how the association works to transform aging services and provides strategic leadership, policy direction, and fiduciary oversight.
“The world of aging services – and of associations – is at an inflection point, and LeadingAge is committed to seizing this opportunity for our members,” said Kate Smith Sloan, President and CEO of LeadingAge. “This board is especially well-suited to help us meet the moment.”
“I am honored to join the esteemed board of LeadingAge. I look forward to collaborating with the innovative leaders within LeadingAge, advocating for the overall well-being of older adults, and contributing to the continued growth and excellence of aging services,” said Mark Anderson, President and CEO of Knute Nelson and Walker Methodist.
