Share Your Techspertise – And More!

Want to get together with like minded folks to share challenges and solutions about wellness, aging, tech….and just about anything? Lunch & Learn is waiting for you!

You could call it Senior Planet’s “immersive experience.”

Senior Planet’s Lunch & Learn online group has been meeting every weekday at 1:30pm ET since early 2020. The group has grown and evolved, but participants have always been at the center of the experience.

Lunch and Learn about Tech

Seniors bring a lifetime of knowledge to all Senior Planet programs. Each day has a different theme (scroll to the end for the full list!) but Tuesdays are particularly special because participants are invited to share their tech expertise (or “techspertise”) with the larger community. 

Lunch & Learn’s Tuesday Talks have showcased topics like Shutterfly, Virtual Pen Pals, Gmail Labels, and so much more. “I have done a number of presentations on technical topics but also enjoy the talks presented by other members on our Tuesday sessions,” says Dave Taenzer, the group’s longtime co-host. “Our members have an enormous wealth of knowledge that they are kind enough to share with the group and I really appreciate it.”

Share Your Tech Savvy

Are you the ‘go to” in your friend group for tech questions? Want to share your expertise on a tech topic? We’re scheduling presenters starting in March; if you want to share your smarts you can start by filling out this form and we’ll be in touch! If you’re not familiar with presenting on Zoom, don’t worry. Senior Planet staff helps presenters prepare and there is ample support during the session to help with the program. 

Not a techie but looking for a peer group to share what’s on your mind?  Check out a Lunch & Learn and join like minded souls for an hour of informative chat on a variety of issues.

All Lunch & Learn sessions meet online 1:30 – 2:30pm Eastern on Zoom. Look for your favorites here using this guideline:
